What will I study?

What materials will I receive?

The Centre will provide trainees with a printed Handout of the course’s manual, and a memory stick with further information about the course and the DP & Offshore field.

Who will train me?

Our Instructors are qualified professionals with long term experience in the DP & Offshore field.

On what equipment will I train?

The Centre is equipped with a Medium Speed Engine Room Simulator-PSV3D and a Diesel Electric Propustion Simulator-PSV3D. The 3D simulators of the Engine Rooms are based on the real equipment on board of a real DP vessel.
The environment created in the 3-D simulator is highly realistic, supported by a high definition video card and a high quality 3D sound system.

Who recognizes my DP Maintenance&Engineering Certificate?

The DPM Course Certificate is recognized by IMCA. The Centre has been an IMCA member since 2013.

How much does the course cost?

STARTING 01 January 2017 UNTIL 01 May 2017 YOU WILL HAVE 30% DISCOUNT! FINAL PRICE IS 700 euro!

There is also an additional price of 20 euros for the IMCA “Offshore Engineer’s Logbook”, which trainees will receive together with the DP M&E Certificate in the last day of the course.
Payment can be made as follows:

  • through a banking transfer, with the details you will receive on your invoice after registering online for the course.

How long does the course last?

The DP Maintenance&Engineering course lasts for 4 days. On Monday, the course begins at 1300LT, while in the rest of the days, at 0800LT.

How can I reach the Romanian Nautical College - DP & Offshore Centre?

Depending on the country of residence, our trainees can arrive by car, train or plane. The nearest airport to the Centre is the Constanta Airport – Kogalniceanu. Alternatively, our trainees may arrive at the Henri Coanda – Otopeni International Airport in Bucharest, located at 220 km from Constanta. The trip from Henri Coanda Airport to Constanta takes around 3h30min, and there are bus shuttles in the airport providing transportation for 20 euro/trip. If you travel by car, follow the address of the Romanian Nautical College – DP&Offshore Centre on Google Map or other similar application: Str. Do I need a Visa to come to Romania?

In order to discover whether you need a Visa to come to our courses, please visit the website of the Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs http://www.mae.ro/en/node/2040 If it is the case, the Centre will be able to provide trainees with an Invitation Letter for the duration of the course, in order to obtain the Visa as soon as possible.
